Coated is a pastry brand built on a single idea, indulgence as ceremony. Cakes, chocolates, and desserts treated less like sweets and more like small, considered objects. Made to be given. Made to be remembered.

  • Most pastry brands compete on abundance. Bright colours, busy shelves, copy that shouts about flavour. Coated needed to do the opposite. Quiet packaging, restrained palette, a system that lets the product itself be the loudest thing in the room.

  • We built the packaging system around two registers, deep cocoa for the everyday range, soft cream for the gifting line. Both stripped back to embossed marks, subtle pattern work, and a single ribbon detail. Nothing decorative that doesn't earn its place.

    The photography was shot to match. Hard light, sharp shadow, surfaces that feel architectural, boxes arranged like floorplans, single cakes held in negative space, chocolate framed close enough to read the texture. The product never has to compete with the design. It's the design.

    A pastry brand that doesn't shout sweetness. It coats it.
